7 Years

I know Miss Leah's Birthday isn't until next week, but seven years ago today was her due date. Even from the beginning she was doing things on her own terms. She wasn't in a hurry, and she wanted to spend as much time with her mommy as she could. For the most part none of that has really changed. She has a mind of her own and likes things her way(she gets that from her daddy). She likes to have her own time with me, and if she is away for too long, she misses me. She has the kindest heart anyone will ever know.

We love you so much Leah. Thank you for choosing me to be your Mommy.

Where have we been?

So I know it has been a while since I've been on here, but December kept us busy.  I still haven't put all the pictures from last month on my computer, and I am sad to say I don't think I have even pulled it out in 2012.
Here is some of what kept us so busy.

I took Adrienne and Leah to see the Nutcracker this year. We started this tradition last year and I think this is definitely one we are going to keep.

Don't they look beautiful in their dresses.

Leah had her Christmas program and her class Christmas party on the 15th. They did such a good job.
(they always do)

She spotted me before the program began

The 1st graders sang "Silent Night"

I think this was "Blitzen Boogie," and Leah was in the front.
I'm not sure where she gets her moves from :)

We went to their classroom for the party

And here I am reading a book to the class.

They were out for 2 weeks for the Christmas holiday.  We went to my sisters this year. I'll try to get some of those up sometime this week. I'm not promising anything, because did I mention I start school this week! Eeek!
